Having problems with your Buick Park Avenue ?

I have a 1995 Buick Park Avenue that has had a problem for the past 6 months. It is losing anti-freeze and oil. They don't seem to be mixing into each other and I never see it leaking anywhere. The only two symptoms that this is causing is 1. not getting as good as gas mileage as it once did. Long trip might get 22 miles to the gallon. It used to get around 27 to 28 before this started happening. 2. When you go up an upgrade you will lose the air-conditioning. Just stops working until yo

Yes i have but you will not like it ,and that is this vehicle is on the banger list ,its 15yrs old and well past its sell by date ,the symptoms you describe are synominous with a worn engine thats had its life and it would cost more to rebuild the engine than the car is worth ,here in spain a 15 yr old car i can buy for 300 euros now iam not sure what a car like this is worth in the USA but i would imagine not a lot more .i mean 22 miles to the gallon ?? my escort diesel throws out 50+ and the rover 220 diesel a bit more than this on a run ,now my sunday car XJ6 sovereign jaguar uses 20 euros of petrol to go to a local sunday market and back which is a round trip of about 50 miles but at the cost of fuel here 20 euros is about just a little over 2 gallons ,now you know why its my sunday car or for a wedding car
You will need to get the AC pressure test done.It can be done at any local car garage dealing with ac repairs. If in the AC pressure test the pressure is checked out low then there is low coolant or the coolant is getting leaked. In the pressure test it will be confirmed from where its leaking.\015\012For oil loosing.Check the intake manifold.Intake manifold may be leaking allowing coolant, oil or both to leak from the engine.
Thoroughly check for any external leaks. If no external leaks are found, then replace the intermediate intake manifold gasket and the throttle body gasket. When changing the throttle body gasket, the nuts that retain the throttle body should be replaced with a new design that improves torque retention. Medium strength thread locker should be applied to the studs before installing the new nuts.
