Having problems with your Buick Regal ?
When driving my 94Regal. After driving it, for 5 minutes. It sstarts to putter/gasp for air. I replaced, just about everything. Except for gas cap/ egr/ Fuel pump sending unit.
Is your service engine light on? If so take it to a O'Reily's and have it scanned. If not you need to get a fuel pressure gauge from there (you have to give a deposit) check your fuel pressure. There is a check port drivers side center it will have what looks like a big valve stem cap on it. They will be able to tell you what it should be making in fuel pressure ( I think it is between 55-60 psi) Give it some gas a few times with gauge hooked up see if the pressure stays consent while your revving the engine. If this test good and you don't have a engine code. Then I would start looking at your Ignition Control Module & Coil Packs. Also make sure you check your alternator voltage or just pull the thing off and have it tested. Also when no code and can't find the problem, I've just started unhooking sensors and starting it up to see if it was better or worse. If you get the sensor that is causing the problem unhooked it should do what it is doing since that sensor is not working while unhooked. It's a pain in the ****, yet alot cheaper then a shop. Hopefully you have a volt meter if not just buy one if you have $10 to invest in one. I just had an alternator's voltage regulator go out caused similar problems and ended up frying my ICM and 2 coil packs before I thought to check the voltage.
