Having problems with your 1998 Chevrolet Blazer ?

1998 Chevy Blazer won't start after dying

\015 Was driving on the interstate...while exiting on off ramp it died and would not restart...put another fuel pump in and still will not start...Its getting fuel but no fire..what else can cause this?....thanks\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 09-12-2019

Answers :

Ignition module or pickup coil. (These require special testing tools.) Or it may be the distributor rotor. (Check rotor first. Cheapest to replace.) If you have spark at center coil wire but nothing to plugs, it's the rotor.
Hi,have you checked the coil?Also distributator,if not coil your problem is the replaceable part inside forgive me iv'e lost the name of the part in my brain,realy it's been a long day but it has a wire going to it and can removed easy besides the coil a shorted out wire feeding the coil or distributator I hope this helps you ,me I need sleep,good luck.
