Answers :

There is no set period for changing water pumps. If you are lucky it should in fact last the life of the car.
\015\012However, if the bearing starts to get noisey or if a leak appears around the water pump area, you should change it as soon as possible.
\015\012New or refurbished units are available from any good car shop
Water pumps generally do not need routine replacement. A good sign is leakage og coolant. Any detrimental wear such as a bearing will cause leakage of the seal.If it is a precautionary thought, Change it around 75,ooo miles. FGood luck, Ned
