Having problems with your 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix ?

Every time i shift my transmission selector into drive or reverse my car does a noise i know is not the transmission 'cause is shifting smoothly but i can tell if that noise is coming from the drive axle,a shock absorver or is justa motor mount

Most likely it's going to be the motor mounts, the bushings are common to go bad on front wheel drive cars and will need to be replaced. Replace them with urethane engine mounts, they last longer and cost about the same as the OEM from the dealer. \012
