Alternator is not putting out enough volt - 2005 Jaguar X-Type

Answers :

Car off, at battery there should be at least 13 volts. when running there should be at least 14-14.2 volts at battery. if not check wiring before changing alternator. also make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. good-luck!!
