Having problems with your Audi 80 ?

Start and stop audi

\015 I have recently bought a 92 audi 80 and when i take it out even just down the road and turn it off i can not get it to start again could this be a fuel pump issue or is it a tempreture problem?\015\012\015\012I've just bought an Audi 80, 1994, L reg, 2.0l dohc 16v. It is difficult to start hot and cold. It runs fine when started no misfire or any signs of cutting out, I have been on long drives without any problem. Sometimes if it has been running for a long time and then left to cool for abut 20 minutes it will not start at all. The fuel pump seems ok and there is a spark when this is happening. Im running out of ideas so any help would be appreciated.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-01-2021

Answers :

Check your crank position sensor for resistance and check if the resistance comes out to what it suppose to be.if not then you need a new one...i think the range would be 2200 to 3000ohms but i would refer that you check the specified resistance before you check it. i hope that would solve your problem
