Having problems with your Chevrolet 1500 ?

I have a 2001 silverado v6 and I keep getting the p0304 code #4 misfire. I changed plugs, wires, rotor and distrubutor. I also checked the ignition coil which is good. Any ideas?

Check the compression on that cylinder. The most probably cause is a faulty fuel injector. It could be partially blocked, with crud. An inexpensive fix might be to purchase a can (bottle) of fuel-injector clean, and put some higher octain gas in for one (1) tank-full. It might clear the problem without pulling the injector. Also check the wiring going to the injector. It could be the wiring connector going to the plug.
Have you compression tested the cylinder to make sure it is in mechanical working order? :)
