Having problems with your Chevrolet Camaro ?

When trying to start engine,starter grinds.Have new battery,new starter and good voltage.Tried shimming and no results,still drags (starter).Please help.

Answers :

Make sure the ground cable is good,and the battery connections,if neccesary,replace the ground cable,with a larger one,good idea to change the positive cable also,with a larger one,the dragging is from not enougth amps traveling threw the cables,the grinding,well it can be the flywheel,Or if it is a new starter,and it did not do this before,it is defective.
It bounds like the ring gear is in need of replacing
