Timing on 1982 350 engine

\015 8 degrees tdc before tdc\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 12-11-2018

Answers :

Owing to low grade fuel used nowdays then it may be better to use a 6? static timing ,lots of older engines had a higher compression ratio compared to modern motors and the lower grade fuel will cause pinking .Also the old distributors used had a higher and faster advance curve than modern motors so retarding the timing will counter act this to a extent
