Having problems with your Chevrolet Lumina ?

I have a problem oil pump and I would like to know if you have to pull the engine to get at it. My mechanic does not have a hydraulic lift.

Answers :

You don`t say what type of car this is.if it is a truck you don`t have to pull the motor to replace the oil pump.depending on the car you usually don`t have to pull the motor but you have to remove the components that are in the way.you also may have to lift the motor up but not pull it.
You remove the oil pan only
