Having problems with your Chevrolet S 10 ?

Emissions light sensor coming on and some days the subaru loses power and feels like she is having trouble getting into gears but she is auto.

\015 My emissions yellow light has been coming on and off for a few weeks. I was told it was possibly bad fuel but the mechanic couldnt find anything wrong with the car and suggested changing the fuse/ switch as no codes coming up. Whilst waiting for this new fuse/switch i have noticed that the car has a bit of jolting whilst displaying the light and feels like she is having trouble getting into gear, although an auto. One day i lost a lot of pulling away power and noticed again that the light was on. Off to change the light but was that the problem for loss of power and jolting experience?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 23-03-2020

Hi natalie5476,

There are several problems with this picture. First, it is posted under "Chevrolet Cars & Trucks" while you clearly state in your question that you are talking about a Subaru.

Then there is the question of replacing a "Fuse"??? What fuse would you replace when the light is obviously receiving power from the battery?
It sounds to me like you are taking your vehicle to a "mechanic" that knows less about the car and how it is supposed to work, than you do.

I would recommend trying again by taking it to an automotive repair technician that is properly trained and has the correct equipment to diagnose and repair your vehicle.
