Driver seat in a '99 ext cab Silverado 1500 doesn't lock in place

\015 Driver seat (manual - not power) in my 1999 ext cab silverado 1500 does not lock in place. The locking pin is broken and I do not want to replace the whole seat rack for $300 in parts from the dealer. The seat is bucket or what you call 40/20/40. The broken part is white nylon with a lever and pin mechanism . the nylon part is broken in half and slides out of the track. the seat rack involved is the inner track next to the hump. As a result, the seat slides with the momentum of the truck and I cannot drive the truck. Is there a palce to get this nylon part without buying a whole seat track. Are there any drawing out there in how this locking pin works. I have the OEM service manual and I have looked in the parts manual at the dealer - there are no drawings of the nylon locking pin mechanism. I looks like there are two pins that lock the seat. \015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 23-04-2018
