Having problems with your Chevrolet Venture ?

I have a 2004 chevy venture, 3.4 l v6 engine. the red brake light stays on on the dash and on the convenience center it tells me i have low brake fluid. the brake fluid is not low and if you disconnect the wire harness from the switch in the master cyl, the light and warning sign goes out. i replace that switch and it did not cure the problem .help please.

Answers :

This can also be caused by the park brake switch, go under the dash and locate the park brake switch, it is a simple ground switch (it is located on the actual park brake mechanism), remove the wire connector to the park brake switch and ground it to the body and see if the light goes out.
