Having problems with your Chrysler Cirrus ?
I have a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus. I drove it yesterday with no problems at all. I go to start my car this morning and it wont start. Its turns over just fine it dont even sound like there is a problem but then it wont start. Its has been really cold here so i dont know if the cold weather has something to do with it, but i never had problems in cold weather before. Please help....
You need to check and see if your getting any fire to your spark plugs it sounds like you may have a distributor that has gone out which is commen in that vehicle and if the engine light is on you can see if someone you know might be able to run the codes for you to see if there are any that are stored if you get the vehicle started take it to advance auto and they will run the codes for free just always remeber a vehicle needs 3 things to run fuel, oxygen, and fire. Good luck
Try the spare key in case its the chip in the key playing up for whatever reason if spare key doesnt work then check to see if the immobilisor light is on ,Now also of course if the temperature is too cold what can happen in extreme circumstances is a micro chip malfunction where they fail in the cold and if this is the case then push car into teh garage and let it warm up gently and it should start ,been getting this a lot with other things as well because of the cold and cheap chinese micro chips so your not the only one. Also keep car keys away from any electro magnetic source like tv screens and body scanners magnets and most of all a tesla induction battery charger ,be surprised how many people try to recharge their remote car keys on o0ne of these type of charger .
