Get a small mirror and flashlight and inspect under the seat for a restriction. It is common for a coin to lodge in the track and stop seat from moving. If that doesnt help ,there are 4 bolts that hold the seat to the floor pan, 2 in front ,2 in back. They may have plastic covers to remove first.Once the seat bolts are out, move the seat back foward and lift the front of the seat ,so the seat back will lay on the back seat. That will give easy access to the under seat. You dont have to remove any wires that way and, it may let the restriction fall out. Hope that helps
The seat adjuster assembly is bad. i was a chrysler tech for 15 years. the motor that runs the forward and back is either bad or the tracks are bad and it is binding. you can not get parts for it. you will have to buy a new complete adjuster or see if a boneyard may have a good used aseembly. Don
