Battery going dead when truck is not running - Ford Cars & Trucks

Answers :

If the battery isn't over 4 years old, then you
have to pull one fuse at a time or put an amp
meter in series with either battery cable to see
where the drain is.

Some Module may not be timing out or there is
a problem with the alternator

Every vehicle is wired different ,simply can't give you
a specific cause, has to be tested in the proper way
to stop the problem
Have the battery tested. You might have a dead cell if unable to keep a charge. If it's good, check alternator for proper charging. A loose connection on the battery or alternator will not allow charging. If everything is good, you might have an unintentional drain on the battery, something like a glove box light that won't go off.
