Having problems with your Ford E-150 ?

On a 2002 E150 Van the fuel pump relay is not energizing. The #8 fuse in the fuse box inside the van is blowing when i just turn the ignition on. Are the 2 related and what are your suggestions. Rotated PCM fuse with horn fuse and still the same. So its not a shorted coil on the relay.

Answers :

I would say the fuel pump is shorted out,and blowing the fuse. The fuel pump,is most likely locked up to cause this situation. When the key is turned on,it activates the relay for the fuel pump.
