Having problems with your Ford Expedition ?

My 1999 Ford Expedition only blows cold air when the heater is on. We have checked the coolant level and it is full.

Answers :

Check the heater hoses going inti the cab,at the heater core, when engine is warmed up completly, feel to see if the heater hoses are both hot,to touch, both of them.If only one is warm, and the other is cold,or if both are cold, remove the heater hoses from the heater core, and flush the heater core out with a water hose. Then replace the heater hoses, make sure the radiator is refilled,If the heater hoses are both hot,or warm to touch, then the temp door is not working in the heater box.It will be a door actuator motor. It is behind the glove box,on top of the blower box, toward the center a little. It is flat, and has small multiple wires in one plug in on it.This will be the problem, the parts store can get them for about 45.00 dollars.I hope this was helpful,if so,please let us know, thank you.
