Having problems with your Ford F-150 ?

I was under the truck the while the engine was running other day and noticed coolant dripping from the holes under the radiator. I checked the level of the coolant and it was normal. My display in the truck that tells me if my truck is hot or cold is not working either. I also checked the hoses and the cap from what I see no leak.

Answers :

If you have had rain recently it s amazing how much of the water gets in and hangs around until shaken free by the engine running. If the coolant level remains normal this would the cause. The temperature sender that is used to display readings on you dash board is separate to the coolant temperature sensor that sends signals to the engine control module. The sender usually has just one wire attachment and the sensor at least two. Remove the sender electrical connection and make sure both that the top of the sender and the corresponding electrical socket are free of dirt and corrosion. Use a emery paper to shine things up and maintain connection.
