Having problems with your Ford Falcon ?

Help with spark issue ford falcon

\015 I am hoping to get some help with my ford falcon i have an 85 ford falcon xf with a 4.0 mpi xr6 in it have had a few probs with it in the past but finally had it running sweet and she died checked everything over found to have no spark i changed the dizzy coil and condenser still nothing took the dizzy and coil to get tested had a fried module got a new one today put the new dizzy and new coil in and still nothing i have been told that when u use a test lite on the injectors one should light up and one should pulsate i have 3 injectors light up on one side and not on the other and on the other 2 injectors both sides light up seems weird and get no pulsate out of any of them since this was a conversion it has an xr6 ignition hooked up under the glove box and when i first got the car i turned the key off and it killed the spark turned it back on and she went straight away have used a test lite on the plug to the second ignition and get nothing also has a wire running from a negative under dash and goes to nowhere in the engine bay and when i power it up on the negative terminal it puts the reds on the dash with no negative lead on the battery i am lost and know that this mess would cost hundreds to fix at a sparky i am not sure if it has some how immobilised from the second ignition or what but one minute its going now its a nitemare have also tried a diff computer fuel pump kicks in for 2 seconds when i turn the ignition on so i know that it working i tested the injectors by turning the car over with my spare fuel rail all hooked up but not inserted to the intake and they did not squirt fuel like normal just dead gotta be wiring but hope someone has a brainwave and can help me with this mess\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 23-05-2022
