Having problems with your GMC Sierra 1500 ?

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra, and I replaced steering shaft for clunk. In this process, I think I turned steering wheel too much and now my electrical controls for radio and mileage doesn't work. My suspect I must have disconnected the wiring. My question is, how do i find the connection and "safely" fix without setting off airbags?
