Having problems with your Honda Accord ?
I have a 2003 accord, the problem is when crusing between 40 and 50 I will get a flutter in the drivetrain. Shakes the car like a front tire is extremely out of balance. Let off the gas or give it more it will quit imediatly. Not a tire or mount problem, seems to be in the transmisson.
Answers :
I agree that it could be the trans. when operating the vehicle, instead of putting it in drive, put it in 3rd. accelerate to 40-50. the vibration might be the result of the trans not being able to shift properly into overdrive (4th). if the vibration goes away, then suspect the trans, since the trans will no longer be able to shift into 4th. if the vibration is still there, suspect an axle out of balance since the speed of the axle will remain the same.
