Having problems with your Honda Civic ?
My 1993 civic has a intermittent no start. It has spark but I am assuming no fuel. if you let off and try it again all of a sudden it will start may take 1 try or ten? any Ideas would be appreciated. thanks
You probably have a fuel pump or filter problem. For that year if you have over 100 K miles it is a safe bet. You can check when there is a no start by loosening the line from you fuel filter that comes from the tank. The Filter is located in the engine compartment. Check it with the key on, then cranking. If fuel does not come out the fuel pump is bad, if fuel comes out, put it back on and take the other line off the fuel filter that goes to the fuel rail and see if fuel comes out. If none or a dribble the fuel filter is clogged and needs replacing.
