97 Isuzu Trooper loud ticking in the top end,

\015 97 Isuzu Trooper loud ticking top end, mechanic told me it is a overhead valve engine and the cams and rocker assembly needs to be replaced as they are severly worn. Cost many thousands of $$$\012\012Whats the deal, lifters or OHV? Ist probably your rocker arms they are located underneath the valvue cover
It has rocker arms, with something called hydrologic lash adjusters that push the valves. replace all the ones with collapsed "buttons", and change your timing belt hydrolic tensioner, they make alot of noise when they go out.
