Having problems with your Isuzu Trooper ?

Had a tuneup done on my isuzu trooper

\015 Took my trooper in because it was idealing higher than normal. Useually ideals below one, started idealing around one and half. Was told that it needed a tune up so I had one done. Had the plugs and air filter changed, while in the machinic changed the vaccum lines. Now the truck will not ideal below two and a half. From a dead stop the trooper will go up to fifteen miles an hour with out touching the gas pedeal and my transmission pops when you go from drive back to park. It has never done this before. Took it back because the man who work on the truck said he might have gotten a vaccum line hooked up wrong. So he put a bigger vaccum line on the truck. and now it is worse than before he did anything.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 17-12-2018

Answers :

Sounds like you need a new mechanic.
The idle speed is going up because extra air is entering the intake much like opening the throttle plate. You might be able to plug all of the line fittings to get the idle speed back down, but the hoses would still need to be connected correctly.
