Having problems with your Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

I just bought a 1995 Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited V-8 - check engiine light comes on after driving awhile. I wanted to know how do you perform the diagnostic so I can check the code. A friend has the machine but was not sure where to plug into the car to check.

Answers :

The plug should be located in the wiring harness on the drivers side under the hood. If you cant find it there look under the dash on the drivers side. There is also a on/off sequence in which you can make the check engine light actually flash out the codes. I have the manual for the grand cherokees. email me if you would like the key sequence to make this work.
