Replacing tail light on Jeep Liberty

\015 I need to replace the tail lights on my 2004 Jeep Liberty. I took the screws off on the passenger side light but its difficult to get it out. I dont want to just yank it out and break it. I also need to replace the top 3rd light but its pretty hard to get out as well, how do I get the case off?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-09-2021

So you already have the screws out. You simply have to pull it out. It probably have a small plug or *** on the back side to help hold it in place. YOu can pull the unit fairly hard on it with out breaking it, just be firm with it and it should come right out. I'm not sure about the 3rd light, how it is mounted as well. Are you just changing the light bulb in it or changing the cover? If your just changing the bulb or cover you should just be able to take the screws out of the cover and use a small screwdriver to gnetly pry it off.
