Hello. We appreciate your nice comments regarding our site.
\015\012Thank you.
\015\012Regarding the original carb for your 302, I am pretty sure that your car came originally fitted with a 'variable venturi' carburetor. However, there were 3 different types of VV carbs in 82. There was the VV with a throttle position sensor, a VV without a TPS, and a third one if you had the overdrive transmission. "7200 series" Ford carbs, I think.
\015\012The VV carbs that I have personally been involved with are kind of a pain. If your car is running fine, there is no real advantage of changing back to the VV carb, in my opinion.
\015\012Thnaks for choosing FixYa again.
