Driver Side Leaking

\015 I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.4L, that only leaks when it rains on the drivers side floor. It's not coming from the window or top, and i'm thinking its a drain tube, but am not able to locate it. Do you know where it is at?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 25-03-2019

I had a problem like this before. Carpet was soaked after the winter. There is a few spots to check out here. Your window seals could be dried out and allowing water to creep past them. You may have a rubber grommet missing from your fire wall or under the vehicle. Mine was a rubber plug right under the feet area of the floor board and was missing. If your car is relatively new, I would make sure your car door and window seals completely when it is closed. Check it out next time at the car wash. If everything is dry, hose it down real good so it will cause the leak to appear. Follow the leak to the source or where it begins to get wet first. That will reveal your problem.
