Having problems with your Mitsubishi Eclipse ?

Mitsubishi Eclipse 2001 Catalytic converter Drawing Needed

\015 I assume the oxygen sensor goes onto the catalytic converter.Does anyone have a drawing of a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0L V6 - catalytic converter or list of oxygen Mitsubishi Eclipse sensors. I would like to see all the oxygen sensors and with part numbers.\015\012I have a PO141 error code with my "Check Engine Light" and I don't know which sensor to buy.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-04-2019

Answers :

The o2 sensors are located before, and after the catalytic converter.Upstream, and down stream,or upstream (1),and downstream (2).the bank 1,is passengers side, and the bank 2 is drivers side. So,the code you have is,bank 1 sensor two,so,it would be passengers side, downstream, after the catalytic. This o2 sensor also heats up,so replacing it will fix the problem, sense the code is calling for the malfunction of the heater circuit. The o2 sensors mount in the pipe, before the catalytic, and after the catalytic.I hope this was helpful, best I could do,thank you.
