Having problems with your Mitsubishi Outlander ?

Diesel engine my 2.8 pajero will fire up no bother but after a few seconds it starts to run ''lumpy'' before cutting out! it then struggles to start but it will eventually start but unless you keep the revs on high(2500) it will cut out again.If when i start it,i keep the revs high until it reaches running temp it ticks over no bother and will start all day.The problem comes when car stands for any length of time.it is fitted with a manual push button for the glow plugs which are new so i dont t

Answers :

It sounds like the plugs are bad or not heating correctly. Running it out of petrol can mess them up like that sometimes.
