Having problems with your Nissan Maxima ?
My 2005 nissan maxima did not want to start. all the lights inside the car came on and when i tried to start the car it had a tapping/clicking noise and it did not start.
Did the lights dim when you tried to start it? If they did, it sounds like the battery is dead. It's probably the original battery, so at about 4 years old, it's probably time to replace it. Many auto parts stores offer a free check of your charging system and battery. Of course you would have to get someone w/ jumper cables to start your car so you could get to the store. If it is the battery, they will install it. You can spend $50 to $100 on a battery. countrycurt0
Sounds to me like your battery is dead. put cables on it and see if you can jump it off a different car, but it sound like your battery is dead.
