Having problems with your Oldsmobile 98 ?

I have an 1994 98 oldsmobile ...i can be driving and all of a sudden the car will just shut down and soon as i pull over and put it in park it fires right back up and drive like it never happen.. i change the throttle postion sensor 5 months ago.. took it to an garage and put it on the machine and it read that the crankshaft senor error, but the mechanic told me that he recommend that i change the cam senor as well.. what would you recoomend

\015\012The crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor both will shut down the vehicle if they are faulty. I would make sure that the crankshaft sensor is the problem first though and not a wiring issue like a bad connection to the sensor or a broken wire to the sensor. As for the camshaft sensor there really is no reason to replace it right now except for the fact that it is right there while you have the car torn down to get to the crank sensor,since there is no code for it right now if its not broke dont fix it nothing wrong with preventitive maintenance.
