\015\012\015\012Diagnostic Aids:\015\012\015\012\015\012A Scantool can be used to check the diagnostic switch circuit. The Scantool\015\012 should display "on" when vacuum is applied to the diagnostic switch. The\015\012 switch should also be indicated as being closed whenever the ECM is commanding\015\012 an EGR duty cycle of greater than 50%. EGR duty cycle can also be\015\012 monitored by a Scantool.
