Having problems with your Peugeot 405 ?

Peugeot 106 Diesel No power

\015 Changed the head gasket and car ran fine, but leaked oil from camshaft seal.Fixed that and reset the cambelt and car hasn't run since. We've reset the timing (cambelt) countless times, checked the glow plugs and changed the fuel filter.Reluctant to start except on full throttle, won't tick-over, lots of smoke from exhaust, opening throttle takes several seconds to reach full revs.Useless.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 22-07-2019

Answers :

Sounds like the pump timing is out
Assuming that the timing settings aren't 180 degrees out you might be sucking in air in the fuel line.
