Having problems with your Pontiac Bonneville ?

~My 1989 Pontiac Bonneville will not start and it looks like there is mud in the engine oil and under the distributor cap. I'm not sure what could be wrong.~

Answers :

Muddy looking oil probably means that you have water in the oil which usually means leaking head gaskets, but could mean that the PCV valve has not worked in some time. In either case, change the oil and filter. Replace the PCV valve (inexpensive), and replace the distributor cap if you can't clean it spotlessly. (that may solve the starting problem)!
Change engine oil.Clean out distributor with brake cleaner electrical part cleaner. check coolant for oil contamination> Make sure u have spark and fuel pressure.
