Answers :

The blower fan is relatively easy to get to and remove.
\015\012There are 5 screws and a few wire connectors.
\015\012With a few tools, you can have it out in about 15-20 minutes.
Your Bonneville or other GM may be similar.
\015\012
\015\012My recommended tools:
\015\012Small screwdriver (for connector)
\015\012¼” ratchet
\015\0121” extension
\015\0125.5mm socket (or 7/32”)
\015\0127.0mm socket (or 9/32”?)
\015\012
\015\012There is a plastic kick panel under the glove box.
\015\012Using the 7mm socket, remove the two black screws.
\015\012Pull the panel back and down and the Christmas tree retainer will also \015\012pop out with the panel.

There are up to two wires connected to the panel,
\015\012The small black connector appears to be a temp sensor(?). I used the \015\012small screwdriver to help disconnect it.
\015\012The larger, blue connector is an interior lamp. Disconnect it with \015\012finger.
\015\012Set the panel aside.

The motor is located against the firewall, towards the front of the car.\015\012 If you’re seated in the passenger seat, it’s just above your left toe.
\015\012Unplug the 3 wire connector from the motor with finger.
\015\012(There are 4 Philips screws in the motor. Don’t bother removing them. \015\012It’s just a cover.)
\015\012Using the 5.5mm socket, remove the 3 gold screws.
\015\012The motor will drop out.
\015\012Wiggle and twist the vent hose to remove it from the motor.
\015\012Done! (reverse order to install)
\015\012
Well, I hope that wasn't too much.
\015\012If you see an error please reply.
\015\012If you can confirm this works for other models and years, please reply.\015\012
