Having problems with your Toyota Camry ?
On our trip home the stereo system stopped working.
the volume just isn't working and we cannot find
where the wiring problem may be
It's unlikely that all the speakers would suffer a blowout at the same time, so most likely the problem is in the head unit (the dash unit). The head unit has an amplifier built into it, and sends the sound out through the car's wiring to each speaker. It's possible that the amplifier died, but it could also just be a fuse - if you're getting a display on the unit but no sound, then the fuse is fairly unlikely and you may well be looking at a problem with the head unit itself.
