I have a 2000 4-door toyota echo which heats up a lot while driving it

\012- Re torque the cylinder head bolts.
\012- Check radiator cap.
\012- Check external or internal coolant leakages.

\012- Check for clutch slippage (if manual transmission).
\012- Check brakes, if partially engaged.
\012- Pressure test the cooling system for cylinder head gasket health.
