Having problems with your Toyota RAV4 ?

2000 RAV4 It starts cutting out when it reaches 2400 rpm and it will shut the engine off. I changed the fuel pump and the fuel cutoff switches that are in the front and the rear of the tank and the fuel filter. You can start the engine and it will idle just fine, until you start to give it gas then it will die?

I would make sure the computer is able to send codes to the scanner and the diagnostic connector is functioning. With the vehicle warmed up, shut off the engine. Disconnect 1 sparkplug wire. Start the vehicle and let it run for a minute or so. The Service /Check Engine light should come on. Shut it off and do a scan with the scanner. Does the scanner give you a misfire code? I ask this as you must determine if you have a ignition problem or a fuel circuit problem.
\015\012If the computer is sending codes like it should, and you don't get any codes, the next step would be to connect a fuel pressure guage to the injector fuel rail connection port and monitor fuel pressure while increasing the RPM to 2400RPM and see if it drops or stays steady. If it stays steady, you can eliminate the fuel supply circuit and concentrate on EEC, injectors, and ignition..It is sometimes a process of elimination if no codes are evident.
You may have a crank sensor or a coil issue. We can throw more parts at this like you already have or you can get it diagnosed correctly. Their might be a code stored that will help in diagnosing the car.
