Having problems with your Toyota RAV4 ?

On my 1997 RAV4, headlights, CD player, and clock stopped working. Is it likely a relay problem? How would I check this?

This is not a relay problem. It is either that the units share the same fuse wherein the fuse get cut off, it affects the whole buuch.

Look at the fuse box in the car beneath the driver side of the hood.

Good luck and let me know how far about the solution by rating and commenting.

It more then likely a blown fuse (the clock and radio are usally on the radio fuse 10-15amp) and the Headlights are normally on their own fuse (20-30amp). Check all your fuses and replace any that are bad. The fuse panel cover usually has a diagram on the rear of which fuses are for what, if not your manual will have them labeled. ( I recommending pulling them all and check since you may have one blown that you don't know of until you need to use its function). Buy a variety pack and keep a few on hand. If they continue to blow then you have an electrical short somewhere and it needs to be diagnosed.
