Having problems with your Toyota Solara ?

Cars gas tank

\015 I have a very perplexing problem that has recently developed when I attempt to fill my car's gas tank (a 2001 Toyota Solara). I noticed that the gas pump at the station would shut off, as if the car is full, while I was still filling the tank. I have to pump the handle of the gas pump about every 10 seconds to get the car to fill completely. I have taken my car to several different gas stations and still have noted the problem.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-10-2018

Answers :

The breather tube for the tank might be clogged not letting the air out. so when you fill the tank the fill cant get in fast enough b/c the air is not excaping. check the breather tube for kinks or bends. or even blockage of somekind
