Having problems with your Volkswagen Jetta ?

Fan does not kick in at all, I have bridged it to switch the fan on when I switch on. It's expensive to buy and scarce from the scrap yards, how how do I fix it?

Answers :

There should be a temperature switch right in the bottom of the radiator that has to be replace, it costs less than $50 u can u do it yourself. just drain the coolant before you start to work on it!
If you keep your fan running full time ,it will shorten it's life but buying a thermostat switch for your car will save you some.
