Answers :

Buy, or if you can find it online, a manual for how and where the starter is on your vehicle.
\015\012Starters can be found at most Autozone stores, Parts America, and so on, you general auto stores, you can call ahead even to find out if they have one for your vehicle and if not they can order one I'm sure.
\015\012It should be in all about 3 bolts holding the starter on, and maybe 2 wire going to it. You will need a simple socket/wrench set, find out if it is standard or metric on the vehicle and then simply crawl under to inspect and then remove.

\015\012What kind of vehicle specs do you have for this Jetta? If you have anymore questions please let me know, and if you have anymore details please update me. Such as year, style, engine, transmission, if you have a manual already and any other info you think is viable.
